7月8日，參觀者在湖南博物院“遇見(jiàn)龐貝：永恒之城”展覽參觀。當(dāng)日，“遇見(jiàn)龐貝：永恒之城”展覽在湖南博物院開(kāi)展。本次展覽以龐貝古城為主題，展出130多件/套原物真跡，包括濕壁畫(huà)、雕塑、銅器、金器等，通過(guò)豐富的文物展示和復(fù)原場(chǎng)景，帶領(lǐng)觀眾穿越時(shí)空，走進(jìn)這座永恒之城，感受它曾經(jīng)的輝煌與魅力。公元79年，維蘇威火山爆發(fā)，炙熱的火山灰和巖漿將山腳下的龐貝掩埋。這座古城當(dāng)年的生活原貌因此得以保存。龐貝是意大利目前保存最為完整的古羅馬城市遺址，已被列入世界文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。[新華社記者 薛宇舸 攝]

This exhibition showcasing cultural relics from ancient Pompeii opened here on Tuesday. It features more than 130 artifacts, including frescoes, sculptures, and bronze and gold ware, and will run through November 2 this year. Pompeii, situated between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
